hebrew lesson 14

Lesson video

Quiz Objectives:

  1. In which tense would you normally translate a prefix form (KHW 1.3c)?
  2. When would you translate a prefix form in the future tense?
  3. What is a qamats-hatuf?
  4. What is the distinguishing mark of a noun in the feminine gender?
  5. KHW 14.3a.
  6. travelling dagesh

Note: KHW calls zeh and zot attributive adjectives (KHW 14.2c). In English, we would refer to these as demonstrative pronouns. Both terms refer to the same thing (cf. here). They can be called “attributive” because they are in attributive position and “adjectives” because they function adjectivally in both Hebrew and English.
